Cutting Oil

EERSTA SNIT SOLUTEC MP is a high quality emulsifying, semi-synthetic cutting fluid can be used for several universal applications in metalworking. When mixed with water in the right ratio, the following properties are obtained:

very stable and odourless emulsion
good corrosion protection from both piece and machine
excellent surface finish
free of chlorine, secondary amines, phenols and nitrite

This cutting oil can be used for machining or grinding of ferro- and non-ferro metals, especially aluminum and has a wide application area. This product provides excellent tool operating times. This cooling fluid is also applicable in combination with relative hard water.

This emulsifying oil has to be stored inside in a closed packing at above 0 °C. This liquid can be kept fresh for a maximum of 6 months.

Mixing is achieved by slowly pouring the fluid into water, preferably of drinking water quality, while stirring thoroughly or using an automatic mixing device. In this way, the optimal operation of the emulsion is achieved. Always mix well before use. Depending of the water hardness and the applied machining process, the following mixing ratio are advised:

General machining
1 part liquid in 19 – 24 parts water
Heavy machining
1 part liquid in 12 – 19 parts water
Grinding
1 part liquid in 24 – 32 parts water
